Brown Bear
A European Brown Bear photographed in the Sumussalmi region of Finland, close to the Russian bears. The bears cross the border from Russia, looking for food, throughout the night, but so far north, during the summer months, the sun hardly sets. As a result it is possible, even in the darkness of the forest, to photograph the bears from the safety of strategically placed hides.
