Sand Fish

It would be easy to believe that this shot is digitally manipulated, but apart from increasing the contrast a little, the picture is exactly as I found it on the beach. It is simply a pattern, left in the sand, by the tide. The "eye" is a hole made by some little burrowing creature, topped by an air bubble - but in exactly the right place. There was even a small fish "swimming" up behind.
